Build-A-Bear!

For Lara's early birthday present, we did Build-A-Bear for her while we were at the Mall of America with my mom today. It was so cute! She picked out the bear all by herself, and got to help stuff it, and put the heart inside her. Then after she was all closed up Lara gave her a bath, and we picked out an outfit for her. It was a lot of fun, and we look forward to picking out more outfits! She still needs to pick out a name so we can get a birth certificate for her. : )
Here she is helping to stuff her bear.
Here is Lara giving her a bath. She just informed me that she likes the name Daisy, so I guess that is her name. : )
Here is Daisy all dressed up in her new outfit, and Lara had to put her new Easter dress on for the picture. Daisy is a very lucky girl, she gets to ride around with Lara!

Happy 1st Birthday, Ayla Mae!!!

I can't believe Ayla is already a year old! Time is just going way too fast. We didn't do a whole lot for her birthday, we will celebrate the girls' birthdays together in a couple weeks. We did have plans to go to Jen's house so I picked up a small cake before we went there, and we took lots of pictures of Ayla's first cake experience.
Ayla got her finger in the frosting when we were trying to take pictures. : ) Here are the 2 love birds.

Ayla had to check out the frosting before digging in.
She definitely enjoyed the cake! She hasn't had her 12 month check up yet, but I will post her new stats once she does. Happy birthday honey! Love you!

Grand Rios Water Park

Last weekend the girls and I spent the weekend at Grand Rios Water Park in Brooklyn Park with some "extended" family. Ayla was supposed to go to Siren for the weekend, but we had a snow storm the day before, so we decided not to meet to give her to my parents, and she came along. She did pretty good, and was happy the whole weekend. She wasn't a big fan of the water though. Lara was the usual chicken when we first got there. She played in the kid's area and went down one of the slides. I went down a few really fun slides. We had a big ballroom where the whole family could hang out, play games, and there was food set up that everybody brought. It was a lot of fun!
Here are Lara and Carson. It was kind of funny that they both had these shirts. : )
Ayla even had a friend to run around and play with!
