California!

I went on a trip to California with my aunt, uncle, cousin, and her son about a week and a half ago. We had a blast! We were in the Huntington Beach/Newport Beach area. The first day was pretty nice when we got there. My cousin Melissa, her son Zach, and I were supposed to be staying in a cheaper hotel, and my aunt and uncle in a nice Hyatt because he was there on business. So we got to their hotel, and the guys there started putting our luggage on a cart, and I told him not too, but then my uncle said they could, we were staying there with them! So we had a HUGE room! We drove along the beach, and did some shopping in Balboa Island, then we got rained on, so we tried to find a mall, which ended up being this really cool outdoor mall. There is some really fun shopping to do in California! That night we ate at a really cool restaurant called The Rusty Pelican, right on the water at sunset. It was really pretty, with all the nice big boats parked right outside the window!
The 2nd day we headed down to the beach. We walked out to the end of the pier, stopping at some shops along the way. There is a diner at the end of the pier, where we had lunch. It was a really cute restaurant! Then we walked along the beach, picked up some shells, and then did a little more shopping in the area. After that we went back to the hotel for a while and sat in the hot tub, then headed to the aquarium. We looked at lots of fish and sea life, saw a couple 3d shows, and had a Valentine's Day dinner there. It was delicious!
Day 3 started out playing a little shuffleboard at the hotel. : ) Then we headed to Disneyland! We spent 11 hours there, going on most of the rides, and watching the laser light show and fireworks after dark. The rain even held off for us!
On our last day we went to Downtown Disney just for a little bit. We had walked through it the day before too. Then we headed off to the airport to come home. I miss it A LOT, but I missed the girls more, so it wasn't so bad coming home. : )
