The girls

Ayla rolled over today (front to back) for the first time. I happened to get pictures while she was doing it. Here we go!

Yay!!! Now I can't get her to stay on her tummy!

Beki Garner's wedding

Last Saturday I had a wedding reception to go to for my friend Beki. They had a private ceremony before the reception so we just went to the dinner and dance. It was a fun time. Lara danced her little butt off ALL night, and Ayla was really good. One of our good friends from high school who none of us had seen in a LONG time came, and it was really nice to see her. Here is our group of friends from back in the day, minus April, because she just had a baby girl and had gotten home from the hospital that day.

Angie Moeding, Jenny Lokken, Beki Miskanis, Beki Ali, me

We ended up staying until 11:00 because the girls were so good and Lara didn't want to go home. She really wants to go to another dance. : )

Ayla

I don't really have any new pictures of Ayla. They're all starting to look the same, but here is a little video of her...

Another haircut

Lara got her 2nd haircut today...

Como Zoo

Yesterday we took the girls to Como Zoo. It was another nice day to be outside. Ayla was wonderful and slept the WHOLE time. Lara's favorite animals were the seals. We watched the Sparky show, and she was really excited. Some of the animals were hard to see, but we got to see an Orangutan with her baby. Lara says it's Ayla and me.

We bought some ride tickets because Lara said she wanted to go on the rides, but she chickened out, so we ended up giving our tickets away. She was a lot more fearless last year. I hope she will go on the rides at the fairs this year because there are about 3 that she is going to.

Family Fun

We spent last weekend up in Siren. The weather turned out to be really nice the whole time. We got some four wheeling in, and some fishing. On Sunday there was a fishing contest for kids, and Lara won 1st place for 2-5 year olds for crappies. (With MY help, of course) She got a trophy and a little fishing pole, and also won a little tackle box in the drawings.
On Monday we all went mini golfing again. Lara lost interest after a few holes, but still hit her ball around and got excited whenever she got it in a hole.
Mike is leaving for Texas again on Saturday morning, and won't be back until the 4th of July weekend, so he's been doing some work on the yard and spending lots of time with us. We've had lots of fun!
