Baby

If you don't already know, Mike and I found out last week that we are going to have another baby! I won't be going to the doctor for probably another month for sure, so I'm not exactly sure when I will be due, but most likely sometime in the beginning of April. Lara is pretty excited for now, but I don't think she really understands what a big change it will be for her. It's funny talking to her about it though. She thinks anybody can have a baby just because I am. Well I will update more after I've been to the doctor.

More Summer Fun

A couple weekends ago Lara and I went to Preston and Peyton's birthday party. It was a really nice day. It was beautiful outside, I got to see a friend I don't see very often, and there was a bounce house that kept Lara busy ALL day! It was so nice, I didn't have to worry about what she was doing the whole time.

Last Friday my mom and I took Lara to the St. Croix County Fair in Glenwood City. Lara is obsessed with animals, so after we saw all the sheep, goats, pigs, and cows, we went over to the carnival area and bought her a wristband. She is just like me and LOVES rides! She is in her own little world while she's on them, it's really funny. On one ride she was on a motorcycle, and would lean way over like she was driving it, and her belt came off. So of course the carnie had to stop the whole ride, and every other kid thought the ride was over and started to get off. So the guy had to walk around and belt everybody back in, all because of Lara. My mom and I were so embarrassed! Thank God it was the ending time for the wristbands, so we just left after that. Here are some pictures...

On this helicopter she didn't have controls in the front seat, so she just reached behind her to use those. :)

We were sad that Peyton and his family were out of town because we usually go to the fair with them, and this is the first year Lara was big enough to go on rides, but there's always next year!

Playing at the park

Last night I took Lara to the park in Baldwin so she could have some play time with her boyfriend Peyton. Jen and I watched Bryan play tennis with his friend Jake. Well we spent half the time watching them, and half the time making sure the kids were okay. They also brought their new puppy, Bella. Here are some more pictures.

There is my little nose picker. : )

Parker is such a honey, he just entertained himself in the stroller the whole time. What a peanut!

Here are some photos from the past week or two...

Parties

The past couple weeks we have been busy with parties and holiday festivities. Two weekends ago Lara and I went with Jen, Bryan, and the boys to Bryan's sister's house for a 4th of July party. Lara was her usual socialite self and played with all the little kids. It is so cute how she will go tag along with anybody, and half the time they're a few years older and ignore her, but that doesn't phase her at all. So after an evening of running around we kicked back to watch the fireworks show, which was great! The next day we met my mom with Lara so she could take her up to Siren since my daycare had the week of the 4th off.

I joined the family in Siren Tuesday night, and my mom and I took Lara over to a friend's cabin. Their daughter was up with her 2 year old son Knox and baby girl Lizzie. Lara and Knox played with boats and trucks in their life jackets. It was so cute! I will post pictures in a few days when i get my pictures on the computer. We went for a pontoon ride, then we were off to my aunt and uncle's house to watch my uncle Paul's annual fireworks show. It was awesome like usual, and Lara slept through most of it, so we went home right away to put her to bed. On the 4th we went down to Main St for the 4th of July parade. My parent's neighborhood has a float, so it was fun to watch. My dad handed out candy, and they were shooting water and confetti at the crowd. I helped Lara get candy, she's a little slow and needs all the help she can get. After the parade we went to a neighborhood picnic before I headed home so I could work the rest of the week.

Saturday Lara and I went to Eau Claire for Logan's 1st birthday party. He is our friends Ryan and Steph's son from Colombia. He is an absolute doll! It was really hot out, but there were lots of water toys for the kids to play with, so we had a good time. Today is his actual birthday, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOGAN! :)

Sunday was a lazy day. It was super hot out again, so I joined Lara in her pool for a while, then we all went grocery shopping, and hung out inside the rest of the day while we finally got some rain. That is about it. Have a great week, and I will post some pictures in a few days!
